Three additional episodes of the animated TV series “High Score Girl” will be produced for straight-to-video release in March 2019.
News of episodes 13 to 15, which will also be streamed on Netflix, came following the final episode that aired in September in Japan.
The anime is based on a manga of the same name by Rensuke Oshikiri currently running in the Big Gangan monthly comic anthology. Set in an outdated arcade in the 1990s, the series features many classic video game titles from real life.
The story revolves around main characters Haruo Yaguchi, Akira Ono and Koharu Hidaka.
The additional episodes are expected to show how their relationships turn out.
