Talented Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor has won several hearts with his performances. There was no question or doubt about his acting capabilities. He worked in several successful films like Yeh Jawani Hain Dewani, Rajneeti, Bachna-e Haseeno, Barfi, Ae Dil Hain Mushkil, Wake up Sid. He has performed several creative experiments in his career. Barfi, Jagga Jassos, and Salesman of the Year were different roles. In between, he has given failures like Roy, Jagga Jasoos, Besharam, Bombay Velvet. Bombay Velvet was a colossal fiasco and the makers lost more than 50 crore. Jagga Jasoos proved to be an equally monumental commercial failure with losses around 40 crores. These major losses certainly hampered Ranbir Kapoor’s career and fading star power. Kapoor Jr is likely to make a grand comeback with some exciting flicks. Let us discuss these films.
1.Sanju- this film is directed by magical director Rajkumar Hirani. Rajkumar’s association with any project is a guarantee of the awsome quality and super sucess. Hirani has a 100% success record with all movies doing blockbuster business. Sanju is a biopic based on the life of Sanjay Dutt. Sanju Baba’s life has been abundant of the dramatic events and ups and down. Sanjay Dutt maintained several relationships, was involved in substance abuse. He was also jailed under TADA and the arms act.
The film had an interesting cast of Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, Jim Sarbh, Sonam Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, etc. Hirani said an integral part of the movie would be based on the father-son relationship of Sanjay and Sunil Dutt. Paresh Rawal would play Sunil Dutt’s part. The teaser has been well accepted. Ranbir was able to replicate Sanjay’s looks, body language, and even the speaking pattern. We have a certain winner at the hand in Sanju.
2.Bramastra- Ayan Mukherjee will direct this film which stars Amitabh Bachchan, Alia Bhatt and off course Ranbir Kapoor. Alia has established herself as one of the most profitable stars. Her recent films including just released Raazi were successful. The movie will be in the sci-fi genre where Ranbir Kapoor’s character will possess superpower. The flick would have a high budget, and it will have huge expectations from it. Ayan and Ranbir's last film as a combo- Yeh Jawani Hain Deewani was successful.
3.Shamshera- Yashraj banner has recently announced a picture, which would star Ranbir in the lead role. An interesting poster was also released. Sanjay Dutt would play his father and the antagonist in the picture. The action-adventure film which has Ranbir portraying a dacoit for 1st time has generated buzz. Yashraj banner has always been generous with the budget and star power. Karan Malhotra who was impressive in the Hrithik's Agneepath would direct this film. There are great chances of the film to be successful.
4.Luv Ranjan’s next with Ajay Devgn- Luv Ranjan has tasted success repeatedly with Pyar Ka Punchnama series and recently released Sonu ke Titu Ki Sweety. Luv Ranjan has established himself as a successful director and this time he has considered A-list stars. Ajay Devgn and Ranbir Kapoor would co-star in the film. Shraddha Kapoor would portray one of the female lead and other one is yet not announced. This could be another success for Luv with Ajay and Ranbir.
