After a long process of removing the floor, the Oscar winner will play forward and the top producers will produce a comedy series called Dad Stop Embarrassing Me in the streamer. The show is inspired by Foxx's relationship with his daughter, Corinne, who will feature.
Bentley Kyle Evans, who worked with Foxx on the self-proclaimed WB sitcom in the 1990s, will be working as a show. Ken Whittingham, a veteran of the modern family of blacks and blacks will direct all episodes.
Father Stop Disappointing Me will be Foxx's first regular role in a TV series written since the Jamie Foxx Show ended in 2001. He also co-hosted and co-hosted Fox's Beat Shazam game and starred in ABC's Live in Front of a Studio Audience, starring George Jefferson in the redesigned versions of All in the Family and The Jeffersons.
The order for the series comes on the heels of Foxx playing on Netflix's Project, which began on August 14 on the streamer. His latest debts include Just Mercy, 2018 Robin Hood and Baby Driver.
The cast also included former Foxx star In Living Color actor David Alan Grier, Kyla-Drew, Porscha Coleman and Jonathan Kite. Heather Hemmens and Valente Rodriguez will return.
Jamie Foxx and Evans manager produced the series, co-produced by Corinne Foxx and Alex Avant.
Jamie Foxx is back by CAA, LBI Entertainment and Ziffren Brittenham. Corinne Foxx is brought back by CAA, LBI Entertainment and Morris Yorn.
